한적한 시골마을에 미모의 중국계 여성이 찾아든다. 교회에서 알게 된 이혼남 길수와의 결혼을 위해서인데, 빼어난 외모에 살림 실력까지 뭐하나 흠잡을 데 없는 그녀의 매력들은 오히려 길수를 불안하게 만들고, 중국인 아내에게 무언가 다른 꿍꿍이가 있을 거라는 의심들은 눈덩이처럼 불어나면서 걷잡을 수 없는 집착으로 이어진다. 말이 통하지 않는다며 시작된 남편의 손찌검에 여권까지 빼앗긴 란란에게 허락된 것이라곤, 밭농사를 하는 시동생 언태에게 재료를 받아다 요리를 하는 짧은 시간의 자유뿐. 오랜 시간 형의 횡포에 시달리던 시동생 언태 역시, 란란의 이국적인 매력에 빠져들며 급속도로 가까워지는데...과연 베일에 싸인 외국인 형수 란란의 진심과 악연으로 맺어진 이들을 기다리고 있는 잔혹한 결말은?
