이연걸의 정무문

1910년경 상해. 각 열강들의 이권 싸움으로 극심한 혼란 상태였던 상해에는 학사권의 창시자인 곽원갑의 '정무관'과 일본 공수도의 본거지인 '홍구도장'이 대립을 하고 있었다. 공수도의 고수인 개천용일은 학원갑에게 결투를 신청하고 독약이 든 약을 먹여 살해를 당한다. 학사권의 수제자인 진진(이연걸 분)은 일본 유학을 도중에 포기하고 상해로 달려오지만 사부는 이미 적에 손에 독살된 것을 알았으나 홍구도장에서는 개천용인을 살해하고 그 혐의를 진진에게 덮어씌우려고 한다. 진진은 모략에 빠져 그의 결백을 증명할 길이 없었다. 그러나 뜻밖에도 진진의 일본 친구인 미찌꼬가 법정에서 사건당일 같이 있었다고 위증을 하여 극적으로 풀려난다. 진진은 몰락해 가는 정무관을 다시 일으켜 세우려고 하는데.
